Fuzzy Dark Matter in relativistic stars

چکیده
Fuzzy dark matter (FDM), a practical alternative to cold matter, can exist in compact stars. Here, applying the FDM equation of state (EoS) constrained by CMB and large-scale structure data, we calculate relativistic stars presence FDM. For this aim, EoS for visible neutron stars, quark hybrid from observational data are employed. A piecewise polytropic GW170817 six low-mass X-ray binaries with thermonuclear burst or symmetry energy nuclear interaction describes star matter. apply EoSs within Bayesian statistical approach using mass radius measurements PSR J0030+0451 NICER. Relativistic dark matter at the galactic center
In a large region of the supersymmetry parameter space, the annihilation cross section for neutralino dark matter is strongly dependent on the relative velocity of the incoming particles. We explore the consequences of this velocity dependence in the context of indirect detection of dark matter from the galactic center. We find that the increase in the annihilation cross section at high velocit...
متن کاملFlashing Dark Matter— Gamma-Ray Bursts from Relativistic Detonations of Electro-Dilaton Stars
We speculate that the universe is filled with stars composed of electromagnetic and dilaton fields. We calculate soliton-like solutions of these fields and show that their energy can be converted into a relativistic plasma in an explosive way whioch produces strong gamma-ray bursts observed in the universe. The conversion proceeds as in classical detonation theory by a relativistic self-similar...
متن کاملScalar Dark Matter and Cold Stars
In a medium composed of scalar particles with non-zero mass, the range of Van-der-Waals-type scalar mediated interactions among nucleons becomes infinite when the medium makes a transition to a Bose-Einstein condensed phase. We explore this phenomenon in an astrophysical context. Namely, we study the effect of a scalar dark matter background on the equilibrium of degenerate stars. In particular...
متن کاملAccretion of dark matter by stars.
Searches for dark matter imprints are one of the most active areas of current research. We focus here on light fields with mass m_{B}, such as axions and axionlike candidates. Using perturbative techniques and full-blown nonlinear numerical relativity methods, we show the following. (i) Dark matter can pile up in the center of stars, leading to configurations and geometries oscillating with a f...
متن کاملDark Matter Densities during the Formation of the First Stars and in Dark Stars
The first stars in the universe form inside ∼ 106M⊙ dark matter (DM) haloes whose initial density profiles are laid down by gravitational collapse in hierarchical structure formation scenarios. During the formation of the first stars in the universe, the baryonic infall compresses the dark matter further. The resultant dark matter density is presented here, using an algorithm originally develop...
